DELHI - AHMEDABAD Jour 2

This morning, you go to the airport for your flight to Ahmedabad, the city of Gujarat. Once the home of Gandhi, Ahmedabad was a center of resistance against British rule. Upon arrival and after settling into your hotel, set out to explore this bustling metropolis.

Stroll through the old neighborhoods, adorned with magnificent havelis and mosques. For dinner, indulge in the flavors of Gujarati cuisine in one of the city's many restaurants.

AHMEDABAD Jour 3

AHMEDABAD

Today, spend your day exploring Ahmedabad. Start with a guided walking tour of the old town, where a local guide introduces you to its rich past. Next, don't miss the famous Calico Museum, which displays exquisite textile works from different eras and regions.

Visit the Modhera Sun Temple
Today, your private driver will take you to Dasada, located on the banks of the Rann of Kutch, one of the largest salt deserts in the world. Along the way, explore two fascinating sites: The Adalaj Well, a 10th-century baori, and the Modhera Sun Temple.

Exploring the Little Rann of Kutch
Early in the morning, set off on a safari in the Little Rann game reserve of Kutch. Pass through villages inhabited by the Rebari community, known for their traditional way of life. Contemplate a diverse fauna against the backdrop of vast salt plains: migratory birds, pink flamingos, nilgauts and even wild donkeys.

Return to Dasada in the evening to stroll around the city center and visit its forts.

This morning, leave with your driver towards Bhuj, the capital of Kutch, in the northwest of Gujarat. Founded in the 16th century, Bhuj was seriously affected by an earthquake in 2001.
